Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Coordinator with experience in logistics, dispatching, or scheduling to support our Sales and Operations teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and excels at coordinating time-sensitive operations.

You will play a key role in managing daily freight movements, ensuring shipments are executed efficiently, and maintaining clear communication with customers and carriers.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and manage daily freight shipments from pickup through delivery
• Dispatch and schedule drivers, pickups, and deliveries to meet deadlines
• Track shipments and provide proactive updates to customers and carriers
• Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve shipment issues to minimize delays
• Assist with load planning, routing, and carrier selection
• Support rate negotiations and maintain accurate shipment records
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, dispatching, scheduling, or transportation operations strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus
• Ability to prioritize, adapt, and stay calm under pressure
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Negotiation experience is a plus (training provided for the right candidate)
