Job Title: Transport Specialist
Department: Operations / Fleet Management
Job Purpose:
To manage and organize the operation and transportation of company vehicles efficiently, ensuring full fleet readiness, compliance with regulations, and proper management of drivers’ licensing and vehicle registration documentation.
Key Responsibilities:1. Vehicle Operations & Transportation
- Supervise the transfer, delivery, and receipt of vehicles between branches, sites, or customers.
- Organize daily fleet movement according to approved operational plans.
- Monitor drivers’ compliance with assigned routes and operational instructions.
- Resolve operational issues such as delays, breakdowns, or incidents.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.
2. Driver Management & Licensing
- Process and issue driver’s licenses in coordination with relevant authorities.
- Follow up on driver license renewals before expiry dates.
- Maintain and update driver files (licenses, residency permits, and official records).
- Ensure drivers comply with traffic laws and company policies.
3. Vehicle Registration (Istimara) Management
- Issue vehicle registration documents (Istimara) for company fleet vehicles.
- Monitor vehicle registration expiry dates on a regular basis.
- Complete renewal procedures before expiration to avoid fines or operational disruptions.
- Ensure all renewal requirements are met (periodic inspection, insurance, and traffic violations clearance).
- Maintain and update vehicle records (registration, insurance, inspection reports).
- Prepare periodic reports on fleet registration status (valid / expiring soon / expired).
4. Maintenance & Fleet Operations
- Monitor vehicle readiness and coordinate maintenance schedules with workshops.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out on time.
- Track fuel consumption and fleet performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during operations.
5. Reporting & Monitoring
- Prepare daily and weekly fleet operation reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for fleet efficiency.
- Provide recommendations for operational improvements to management.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in fleet management or transportation operations (preferred).
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of fleet and transportation management.
- Understanding of traffic regulations, driver licensing, and vehicle registration procedures.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with drivers and government authorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and operational reporting tools.

Pay: ﷼1,800.00 - ﷼4,000.00 per month
