Transportation Supervisor

Job Purpose

To supervise transportation operations and manage the movement of company vehicles and drivers to ensure efficient, safe, and timely execution of transportation activities supporting the company’s construction, logistics, and engineering operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise daily transportation operations and vehicle movements.
• Assign vehicles and drivers to projects, sites, and operational tasks.
• Plan and manage daily and weekly transportation schedules.
• Ensure drivers comply with company policies and safety procedures.
• Monitor vehicle utilization and ensure efficient use of transportation resources.
• Coordinate transportation requirements with different departments and project teams.
• Ensure vehicles are operational and ready for daily assignments.
• Coordinate with the maintenance department for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor fuel consumption and maintain fuel usage records.
• Investigate and report traffic violations, incidents, and accidents.
• Prepare regular reports on transportation activities and vehicle usage.
• Monitor vehicle licenses, registrations, and insurance validity.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and traffic regulations.
• Support improvements in transportation efficiency and cost control.
• Maintain accurate records for vehicles and drivers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.
• Experience in construction or logistics companies is preferred.
