Transporter- High School Student

Overview:

Responsible for the timely transport of inpatients to the clinical areas of the hospital. Communicates any situation or patient care needs to clinical staff. Assures that transport equipment is functional.

Responsibilities:

Swiftly transport inpatients to the right clinical areas, ensuring seamless care and efficiency.
Keep communication flowing—relay important patient needs and situations to clinical staff to support top-notch care.
Check, prep, and ensure equipment is ready to roll so every transport is smooth, safe, and reliable.

Qualifications:

High School graduate or GED preferred. Previous medical background experience preferred. Nursing Assistant Level I certification preferred. AHA BLS.
