Trash Truck Driver

Front Load Trash Truck Driver needed on the West Side of Town

Compensation: $25 an hour

Our ever-growing company is looking for a CDL Driver (Class B) to join our Team.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Weekly hours can vary and may include overtime. Candidate will be working out of our West Side Location.

Successful candidates will possess a strong work ethic who is reliable and dependable. This position requires an individual to have a Class B CDL.

Overview of Duties

• Transport construction debris from new home subdivisions
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
• Follow OSHA and DOT regulations
• Requires the employee to sit, climb, bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Maintains a clean truck/equipment
• Communicates accurate needs or concerns to Supervisor
• Report truck/equipment issues to the Fleet Department for repairs
• Performs related duties as assigned
• Complete required paperwork and turn in daily

Experience/Requirements

• Clean CDL driver record required
• Bilingual Preferred
• Forklift Experience Preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50-pounds
• Front Load Trash Truck experience is required
• Equipment operator experience is a Plus
• Strictly adhere to all safety policies, requirements, and procedures
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times
• Must be able to work safely in all surroundings, and with team members
• Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must pass a pre-screen drug test and physical
• This position will be subject to random drug testing during employment
