Trauma Registry Responsible for all components of operations including: data collection, data entry (National Trauma Data Bank (NTDB), Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) and NYS Trauma Registry) and retrieval, data quality and integrity, and data analysis.
Job Details:
Responsibilities will include:- Interact with state and regional regulatory agencies providing required data to ensure the accreditation of the hospital's designation as a Level 2 Trauma Center.
- Prepare routine and ad hoc registry reports of trauma data and QI filters.
- Maintains knowledge of current trauma trends and developments by reading appropriate literature, attending related seminars, and any internal educational offerings.
Requirements:- BSN preferred, Certification as a Trauma Registrar through the American Trauma Society (ATS) preferred.
- Must attend or have previously attended two courses within 12 months of being hired: (1) the American Trauma Society's Trauma Registrar Course or equivalent provided by a state trauma program; and (2) the Association of the Advancement of Automotive Medicine's Injury Scaling Course.
- Ability to work remotely once orientation is completed and passed.
Posted Salary Range: USD $35.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr. :
