Travel Consultant - Bilingual in Korean Preferred

Job Summary:

As a Travel Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements. Your main focus will be to understand their unique preferences, needs, and budgets to create tailor-made travel experiences. By leveraging your expertise and industry knowledge, you will provide valuable advice, recommend destinations, and arrange all aspects of their trip, ensuring a seamless and memorable journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests, and requirements. Conduct in-depth consultations to create customized itineraries that meet their unique travel goals.
• Destination Expertise: Stay informed about popular and emerging travel destinations, attractions, events, and accommodations. Provide detailed destination information to clients, highlighting the best places to visit and activities to enjoy.
• Booking and Reservations: Utilize travel booking systems (SABRE GDS) to make reservations for flights. confirm bookings and provide clients with detailed itineraries.
• Travel Documentation: Assist clients in obtaining the necessary travel documents, such as visas, passports, and health certificates, ensuring they are well-prepared for their journey.
• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the travel planning process. Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide timely responses to ensure a positive experience.
• Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest travel trends, industry developments, and travel restrictions. Advise clients on safety protocols, travel advisories, and health-related information.
• Budget Management: Work with clients to develop travel budgets and make cost-effective recommendations while maintaining high-quality travel experiences.
• Sales and Revenue Generation: Meet sales targets and revenue goals by promoting travel packages and upselling additional services to clients.
• Post-Travel Feedback: Follow up with clients after their trips to gather feedback and reviews. Utilize client feedback to continuously improve our services and offerings.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Travel Advisor or similar role in the travel industry.
• In-depth knowledge of travel destinations, products, and services.
• SABRE GDS knowledge is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in travel booking systems and software.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
