Travel Consultant (Must reside in the US)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent sales and customer service skills, and experience in travel planning. This role involves assisting clients in creating memorable travel experiences by providing expert advice on destinations, accommodations, and activities. The Travel Consultant must reside within the United States and be committed to delivering exceptional service to our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and special requirements
• Develop customized travel itineraries including flights, hotels, tours, and transportation arrangements
• Provide expert recommendations based on destination knowledge, hotel experience, and hospitality industry insights
• Assist clients with booking reservations and managing changes or cancellations efficiently
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, visa requirements, and industry regulations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
• Handle inquiries via phone, email, or chat with professionalism and promptness
• Upsell additional services such as travel insurance or premium accommodations to enhance client experiences

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality industries preferred
• Strong knowledge of travel planning tools and hotel/hospitality industry standards
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen actively and provide tailored recommendations
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple client requests effectively
• Must reside within the United States to coordinate local support and resources
• Passion for travel with a keen interest in exploring new destinations and experiences
