About the Role We have two openings for Licensed Practical Nurses at the Toftrees Clinic, part of the Mount Nittany Health system in State College, PA — a 150–500 bed community health network serving Central Pennsylvania. In this role, you will assist in the delivery of quality outpatient healthcare, exercising sound nursing judgment in coordination with physicians and the broader care team. You will engage patients, families, and caregivers in care coordination within a fast-paced, high-traffic clinic environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for LPNs seeking a stable, predictable Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no on-call, no weekends, and no holiday coverage required.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania LPN license (must be currently active)
• Current BLS/BCLS certification per American Heart Association standards required
• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred — less than 1 year considered
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• W-2 employees only — 1099 not accepted
• Two positions available

• Medication administration and treatment delivery across a variety of patient presentations
• Patient assessment using examination, diagnostic, and treatment procedures
• Basic ICD-10 and CPT coding knowledge
• Patient and family education and care coordination
• Physician office procedures and medical terminology
• Emergency situation response — calm, effective, and decisive
• Problem identification, prioritization, and quick clinical decision-making
• Operation of various clinical equipment for examination and treatment
• Clear verbal and written communication with providers and patients
