Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and strong proficiency with both Siemens and GE equipment for a 13-week travel contract in Des Moines, IA.

Details

• Academic teaching hospital setting
• MRI department serving ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Procedures include power injection contrast studies
• Equipment includes Siemens and GE MRI scanners
• Epic (Radiant) EMR — experience required
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call requirement of one weeknight and one weekend (Friday/Saturday) every 10th weekend
• May be required to float across multiple campuses

Requirements

• Minimum of 24 months of MRI experience required
• Strong experience and proficiency with both Siemens and GE MRI equipment required
• ARRT (R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• Epic or Epic Radiant EMR experience required
• Level I trauma experience highly preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Active state license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Charcoal gray scrubs required
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• First-time travelers will be considered, though travel experience is preferred
• Candidates who have been employed by this facility as an FTE or PRN within the past 12 months are not eligible for this position
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a pay rate adjustment
• A supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years is preferred for consideration
