Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac MRI Technologist with cardiac MRI experience required for a 13-week contract at a Level II Trauma Center in a short-term acute care hospital.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level II Trauma Center with 431 staffed beds
• MRI department performing general, MSK, neuro, vascular, and cardiac MR imaging
• Patient population includes adults, pediatrics, patients requiring anesthesia or ventilator support, and those with conditional implants
• Daily caseload of 10–15 patients
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM
• Rotating call required, including weekends and holidays
• No floating to sister facilities required
• Charting via Epic
• Uses Philips iSite PACS and Care Logistics software

Requirements

• ARRT certification required; VA state license not required — national ARRT certification is sufficient
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• Cardiac MRI experience required
• Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs a broad range of MRI studies including general, MSK, neuro, vascular, and cardiac imaging across diverse patient populations
• Experience with document scanning and Care Logistics software is a plus
• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• Parking is provided at no cost
