Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 379 staffed beds at a Level II Trauma Center
• PT Acute Care Hospital unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00–17:00)
• No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Epic EMR required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required
• Current PT license required if applicable
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Current relevant certifications required

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; requests should be disclosed upfront, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Dress code for licensed staff requires solid navy blue scrubs or uniforms; print tops are not acceptable
• Free surface parking is available in designated Employee/Visitor Parking lots
