Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of acute care experience for an inpatient position at a Level 3 Trauma Center in Zanesville, Ohio.

Details

• Inpatient acute care setting at a Level 3 Trauma Center
• Primary patient population is adult and geriatric, including post-operative orthopedic/joint replacement, neurosurgical, neurological, cardiovascular (including CABG), vestibular, general surgery, and medically complex/intubated patients in critical care
• Preferred schedule is five 8-hour shifts M-F or Tue-Sat with flexible start/end times (8:00–4:30 or 9:00–5:30) based on joint replacement surgery coverage needs
• If working primarily M-F, candidates should expect 2+ weekend shifts per month with schedule flexibility
• An alternative schedule of four 10-hour shifts Wed-Sat (7:00–5:30) may be considered
• Epic EMR preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience preferred
• Active Ohio PT license required; license cannot be in process at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Familiarity with orthopedics and joint replacement post-operative surgery patients preferred

• Facility is a Level 3 Trauma Center treating semi-complex patients with multiple orthopedic and internal injuries
