American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient experience for a day-shift, Mon–Fri outpatient rehab position in Springfield, Ohio.

Outpatient physical therapy setting treating orthopedic patients, including post-op joint replacement, rotator cuff repair, mild neurological conditions, and geriatric populations

Expected caseload of 10–12 patients per day on an 8-hour shift
-
Mon–Fri schedule with either 8-hour or 10-hour shift options available
-
Typical shift hours are 8am–5pm; 10-hour shifts may start as early as 7am or end as late as 6pm
-
No on-call or weekend requirements

Transfer equipment in use includes Sara Steady and Hoyer lift
-
Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Ohio required; license required if applicable

Current BLS/CPR certification required

Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient PT experience required

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree; Doctorate preferred

Specialty certification (e.g., OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, Women's Health) preferred

Candidate's full SSN and date of birth (MM/DD) required for consideration

1 supervisory reference required for consideration

Proof of address (Driver's License, Voter Registration card, Federal Tax Return, Military Form 2058, or W2) required for consideration

Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized PT treatment programs consistent with patient age, diagnosis, functional status, and goals

Collaborates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary treatment team to maximize functional outcomes and plan for discharge
-
Selects and administers appropriate techniques, modalities, and interventions and adjusts the plan of care based on patient response
-
Pewter gray scrubs required

Every other holiday coverage expected

EKG/dysrhythmia exam is not required for this position

A pass/fail EKG test is administered on the first day with 2 attempts allowed; study guides will be provided

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
