Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week outpatient assignment requiring BLS certification and an active MN state PT license.

• 8-hour day shifts with potential to work holidays; no weekends or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active MN state Physical Therapist license required; license required if applicable
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Education level appropriate for state licensure requirements
• Previous employment at any Sanford Health location must be disclosed; candidates must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their consideration date
• Two professional references required for consideration: one supervisor reference within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and one peer or supervisor reference from the position's specialty within the last 3 years

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and delivering PT programs to help patients recover mobility, relieve pain, build strength, and prevent deformities
• Evaluates and documents patient progress, recommends treatment adjustments, and ensures documentation meets departmental and regulatory standards
• Educates patients and family members on treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a pay rate adjustment
• All clinicians are required to badge in and out at the facility
