American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing and rehab setting for a 13-week SNF contract with a Monday–Friday day schedule.

Work setting is a skilled nursing facility with a mix of approximately 80–90% general outpatient PT and 10–20% inpatient/swing bed
-
Patient load of 10–13 patients per day

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)

Contract length is 13 weeks

Epic is the preferred EMR system

Free residential parking is available on site

Minimum 1 year of PT experience in an outpatient and/or inpatient skilled nursing and rehab setting

Valid state Physical Therapist license required; license required if applicable

Current BLS certification required

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required

Epic EMR experience preferred

Strong teamwork, customer service, and self-starter qualities are highly valued

Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and implementing individualized treatment programs in accordance with physical therapy principles and practices

Collaborates with an interdisciplinary treatment team

Business casual attire or solid color scrubs with closed-toe shoes required

Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate; candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius to qualify

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration; no additional RTO will be accepted after an offer is made, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation — maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract

Travelers may work up to 18 months continuously before a 3-month break in service is required; for Allied and Non-Clinical roles, the maximum continuous period is 12 months before a 6-month break is required

Former permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler

Compliance documentation must be complete before the clinician can begin seeing patients; this process may take 2–3 weeks
