American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week travel contract at a 528-bed tertiary care hospital in Rochester, NY.

Work settings include adult acute care, adult outpatient, pediatric outpatient, and bedside/portable procedures
-
Procedures include a broad range of X-ray studies across chest and thorax, abdomen/GI, spine and pelvis, upper and lower extremities, head, and C-arm/mobile surgical imaging

Uses PACS system for image management

Epic EMR experience is required
-
5x8 day shifts, Monday through Friday, with rotating start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM
-
Weekend work required on an as-needed basis
-
Rotating weeknight call, averaging approximately 3 times per month
-
Candidates may float within the facility per its policy
-
Minimum of 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience

Valid ARRT certification required
-
BLS required
-
Current NY state license required; license required if applicable

Epic EMR experience is required
-
Prior travel experience required
-
Teaching hospital experience preferred

Trauma Level I or II experience preferred

Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Ability to perform a full range of X-ray procedures across multiple anatomical regions and patient populations

Must be available for rotating weeknight call shifts

2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a gap of at least 1 year before returning

RTO is limited to a maximum of 10 days for the duration of the contract

Pre-start orientation modules are required and vary by specialty; total module time may reach up to 10 hours
