Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience for a night shift travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Eureka, CA.

Details

• 150-bed acute care hospital setting
• Assignment in the NICU/Respiratory Therapy unit
• OB, Delivery, and/or NICU patient population
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Floating between like units within the facility and across facilities within the state is required
• Schedule after initial placement may transition to mid-shift or night shift depending on staffing needs
• Block scheduling considered at manager's discretion
• Charting in Epic (experience required)
• Forest green scrubs required
• Free parking available

Requirements

• Active RRT license (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Prior experience in OB, Delivery, and/or NICU settings required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Pending licenses are not accepted

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — RTO requests made after submission or offer may be denied
• Refusal to float between facilities may result in assignment termination
