Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for an evening/night shift position supporting both a university hospital and a partner location.

Details

• Work across two hospital locations: a university hospital and an affiliated east campus hospital
• Respiratory therapy unit supporting both adult and pediatric patients
• Evening and night shift hours: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, and 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
• 8- and 12-hour shift options available
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required
• One on-call shift required per 6-week scheduling period

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a staff respiratory therapist
• Pediatric and adult experience preferred
• Experience in an academic Level 1 Trauma Center or similarly sized hospital required
• Graduate of a COARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program required
• WI Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required if applicable
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• BLS required — AHA only
