American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU and ICU experience for a night shift travel assignment in a hospital-based respiratory therapy department in Fort Worth, TX.

Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy unit at an acute care facility in Fort Worth, TX
-
NICU patient population; experience with all age ranges required

Night shift: 7:00 PM – 6:30 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call requirements
-
13-week contract
-
Procedures performed include ABGs, assist with intubation, nebulizer treatments, Metaneb, IPPB, and CPT
-
Meditech used for documentation
-
Preferred experience with Servo I ventilator and I-Stat
-
Active RRT license and certification required; license required if applicable
-
Minimum 2+ years of hospital experience
-
NICU experience required
-
ICU experience required
-
ED experience required
-
Ability to draw ABGs required
-
Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)

Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)

Current NRP certification (American Academy of Pediatrics) required for all RT staff caring for neonates

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
-
Black scrubs are required and must be purchased by the candidate
-
Artificial nails, gel nails, and similar nail enhancements are not permitted
-
Hair must be neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
-
Visible piercings other than ears (including nose rings and tongue rings) are not permitted

Body art should be covered whenever possible
