Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience for a night shift travel assignment at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH.

Details

• 13-week contract with possible extension up to 18 consecutive months
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekend availability required as needed
• Floating to other campus facilities may be required

Requirements

• Current Ohio RRT license required
• Active NBRC certification required
• Active BLS required; ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications also required (some may be preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty from assignments worked within the past 12 months are required for consideration
• License required if applicable
• A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration

Additional Information

• This is a smoke-free, nicotine-free facility — a negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen completed within the past 12 months is required
• BCI/FBI fingerprint background check must be completed within 48 hours of signing a contract
• All work history, including any prior positions at this facility or its affiliated locations, must be disclosed in your profile
• Candidates who have previously worked at this health system as permanent or per diem staff are not eligible to return until at least 1 year after their previous end date
• RTO and scheduling requests must be communicated at the time of submission and during the interview
• After 18 consecutive months, a 6-month break is required before returning to any affiliated location; exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis
