Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN Case Manager for an acute care facility in Mission Viejo, CA, requiring 2+ years of acute care management experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within the Case Management department
• Caseload ratio of 1:25
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
• Weekend rotation required
• May be required to float to a sister Laguna facility, as well as other facilities within the state of California
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required; pending license accepted but must be active by start date
• Minimum 2 years of acute care Case Manager experience performing care coordination
• Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
• Epic EMR proficiency required

Additional Information

• Scrub color is turquoise or business casual attire
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment; all RTO requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer, as post-offer requests may be denied
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
