Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position in Lake Geneva, WI, requiring active WI or compact RN licensure and multiple trauma certifications.

• Hospital emergency room setting in Lake Geneva, WI
• Day shift schedule with rotating weekends
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS
• Prior emergency room nursing experience required
• RN education verification required

Additional Information

• Deliver nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation using the nursing process in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
• Develops and executes individualized patient care plans per physician orders and clinic policy, including patient and family education
• Participates in department performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance and peer review
• Applies critical thinking to patient safety concerns and escalates appropriately through the chain of command
