Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a prestigious academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring prior travel RN experience in L&D and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a major academic hospital setting in Boston, MA
• Responsibilities span intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care within the L&D unit
• OR circulator duties are included as part of the role
• 36-hour workweek on a day/night rotating shift
• Flexible weekend and holiday coverage required
• Charting is performed in Epic (experience required)

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a travel RN in Labor & Delivery
• Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, and NRP — all must be AHA-issued
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care, as well as OR circulator support on the L&D unit
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced pay rate compared to the standard travel rate
• No public parking is validated at the Boston location; public parking lots are available at an out-of-pocket cost, and public transportation is encouraged
• Time and attendance is tracked via UKG/Kronos
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
