Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an OB/GYN Labor & Delivery position in West Bloomfield, MI, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Women's Health experience and an active Michigan RN license.

• Outpatient/clinic OB-GYN setting in West Bloomfield, MI
• Women's Health unit specializing in obstetrics and gynecology
• Clinical focus includes fetal monitoring, triage, and patient phone calls
• Full-time schedule, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM), with flexibility to work up to 12-hour shifts
• No on-call requirements
• No block scheduling
• Travelers may be required to float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Women's Health/OB-GYN experience required
• Fetal monitoring training/experience required (must already be trained prior to start)
• Triage experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school required
• BSN preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team and participates in identifying and implementing solutions for care variances
• Online modules must be completed onsite with a passing score, typically 1 week prior to start
• COVID vaccination is mandatory for employment at this facility
• All RTO requests made after an offer is extended will need to be discussed with the manager once the assignment begins
