Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position at a Level III Trauma Center in Gallatin, TN, requiring a minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience and a TN or Compact RN license.

Details

• Night shift position: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• Med/Surg unit (B4) in a 167-bed, Level III Trauma Center
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• 12-bed unit
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May float to other Med/Surg units as needed
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Active RN license — TN or Compact license required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Med/Surg
• 2+ years of Med/Surg experience preferred
• BLS required prior to start (RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate

Additional Information

• Facility is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and holds Level III Trauma Center status
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start
• Travelers must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Scrubs: any color accepted
