Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position at a 107-bed acute care hospital in Mayfield, KY, requiring at least 1 year of experience and active KY or compact RN licensure.

Details

• 13-week contract on a Medical-Surgical unit (3rd & 4th floor) of a Joint Commission-accredited, 107-bed acute care hospital
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 57-bed unit serving patients of all ages
• Patient population commonly includes COPD, post-operative joint patients, and diabetic patients
• Patient ratio up to 1:6 with PCA assistance
• EMR: MediTech experience preferred
• Every other weekend requirement, with additional weekend hours as needed
• On-call required as needed
• Floating to like units possible as needed

Requirements

• Active KY RN license or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and Handling with Care (HWC) — all must be in hand prior to start
• RQI certifications are not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Travelers cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Travelers cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during this assignment
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable; branded attire from other facilities is not permitted
• COVID vaccination card required
