Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Riverton, WY, requiring a WY or compact RN license, 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience, and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• 13-week contract on a Med/Surg unit within a community hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Patient population includes a wide variety of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgical cases, with occasional pediatric/adolescent patients as the facility does not have a dedicated pediatric unit
• Floating between two campuses may be required based on facility census

Requirements

• Active WY RN license or multi-state compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (RQI/RCIS certifications are not accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital setting required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include direct patient care, medication administration, patient and family education, wound care, IV starts, catheter insertion, discharge planning, and documentation
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
