Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Home Health & Hospice travel position in the Williston/Dickinson, ND area, requiring prior home health experience and a valid driver's license with auto insurance.

Details

  • Home health and hospice setting serving patients across a 60-mile radius around Dickinson, including private homes and nursing homes
  • Patient population includes adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics with home health and hospice diagnoses
  • EMR: HomeCare HomeBase
  • 8-hour and 10-hour shifts available, scheduled 8am–5pm
  • On-call rotation required for evenings and weekends
  • Holiday coverage required
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active ND or Compact (NLC) RN license required; pending licenses will not be accepted
  • Current BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • Prior home health and hospice experience required
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required
  • Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
  • A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include initial and ongoing patient assessments, nursing diagnosis, care plan development and revision, medication and treatment administration, physician communication, discharge planning, case management, and supervision of home health aides
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; additional RTO will not be approved after the process begins
