Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiology Clinic RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 3 years of cardiology-specific ambulatory experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Outpatient cardiology and vascular clinic setting
• Cardiology patient population including cardiac diagnostic and monitoring cases
• Performs procedures including EKGs, Exercise Stress Tests, Tilt Table Tests, and IV starts for diagnostic testing
• Uses heart monitoring equipment
• EMR: Athena (transitioning to Epic in late April); experience with both preferred
• Monday–Friday day shift schedule
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license in good standing currently in hand
• Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 3 years of cardiology-specific clinic or ambulatory care experience required
• Experience with Athena and Epic EMR systems preferred

Additional Information

• Primary duties include triaging and assessing patient concerns, providing care coordination across cardiology services, educating patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans, and assisting with patient rooming
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• DOB or SSN required for consideration
• Copy of active CO or compact RN license (including Nursys verification) required for consideration
• AHA certification cards required for consideration
