American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiology Clinic RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 3 years of cardiology-specific ambulatory experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Outpatient cardiology and vascular clinic setting

Cardiology patient population including cardiac diagnostic and monitoring cases

Performs procedures including EKGs, Exercise Stress Tests, Tilt Table Tests, and IV starts for diagnostic testing

Uses heart monitoring equipment

EMR: Athena (transitioning to Epic in late April); experience with both preferred

Monday–Friday day shift schedule

13-week assignment

Active CO RN license or compact RN license in good standing currently in hand

Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS

Minimum 3 years of cardiology-specific clinic or ambulatory care experience required

Experience with Athena and Epic EMR systems preferred

Primary duties include triaging and assessing patient concerns, providing care coordination across cardiology services, educating patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans, and assisting with patient rooming

Flu vaccine required — no exemptions

Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
