American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Hematology-Oncology position at a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience in a similar large-scale setting.

Position is located on the 10A Hematology-Oncology unit of a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center

Common diagnoses include oncology, step-down, and heavy sickle cell cases
-
Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
-
Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
-
Block scheduling is not approved on most units

No on-call requirements

Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact state license required

Current BLS certification required

Chemo certification preferred

Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Med/Surg or a similar specialty setting

Experience in high-acuity, high-volume hospital environments with complex and diverse cases required

Background in large-scale trauma or fast-paced critical care environments required

Local candidates are accepted for this position

No RTO (time off) requests will be approved for this assignment

Certifications and active license must be provided for consideration
