American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology travel assignment in Montana, requiring at least 1 year of oncology experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Acute oncology unit within a hospital setting
-
12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
-
13-week contract
-
Epic EMR used for charting
-
Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
-
On-call may be required during a regularly scheduled shift

Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted

Current AHA BLS certification required; must not expire prior to assignment start date

ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit

Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Med/Surg Oncology required

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; BSN preferred)

Epic EMR experience required

English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) required

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Performs independent nursing and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; health teaching; and health counseling
-
Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, and refers patients as needed for further evaluation

Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
-
Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment

BSN and specialty certification are preferred but not required
