Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience and an Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a large hospital setting
• Day/Night rotating shifts on a 3x12 schedule (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
• Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs of the facility

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required prior to any travel assignments
• A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system's locations
• After completing an assignment, travelers must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any location within this health system
