American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level III NICU position requiring experience with micro preemies and high-frequency ventilation, with every weekend availability required.

Hospital NICU setting, Level III designation

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)

Every weekend is required, plus one weekday shift per week
-
Patient ratio of 1:2
-
Unit practices couplet care with a Stork RN on each shift
-
Experience with micro preemies and high-frequency ventilation is required in this setting
-
Floating required within a 5-hospital system based on staffing needs
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Block scheduling is not allowed
-
Epic EMR experience preferred
-
Active RN license in NJ or a compact license valid in NJ is required
-
Current certifications: BLS and NRP
-
Minimum 2–3 years of NICU experience required
-
Level III NICU experience required
-
Hands-on experience with micro preemies and high-frequency ventilation required
-
COVID-19 vaccination required, no exemptions accepted

Flu vaccination required, no exemptions accepted

Two current professional references required for consideration

Provide neonatal intensive care within a couplet care model supported by a Stork RN each shift

Candidates must be available to float across up to 5 facilities within their skillset

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests submitted afterward will not be honored

Navy blue scrubs required

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible at a local pay rate

First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred
