Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience, open heart scrubbing skills, and on-call availability with a 30-minute response time.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital CVOR unit
• Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, with alternating days off
• On-call required 1–2 days per week with a 30-minute response time
• Weekend call coverage required every 3rd or 4th weekend; weekend span runs Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 6:00 AM
• Holiday coverage required as needed, with an expectation to work at least one major holiday
• Floating required as needed
• Epic EMR experience required
• May care for COVID-positive patients

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Open heart surgery experience required
• Scrub experience in the CVOR required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Candidates will undergo a clinical review prior to manager consideration; interviews with the manager are required
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off for the duration of the assignment; all requests must be submitted upfront
