Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU (SICU) position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Surgical ICU experience and at least 2 prior travel assignments.

Details

• Surgical ICU (SICU) setting within a large hospital environment (500+ bed facility)
• Patient population includes trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, ortho-spine, and oncology cases
• Post-surgical patients from Trauma, Vascular, GI, Ortho/Neuro Spine, and General Surgery procedures
• Rotating day/night shifts on 12-hour schedules (7A/7P rotation)
• Weekend requirement: 3 out of every 6 weekends per 6-week schedule
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Floating required to areas of like skill set, including other ICUs and IMC units
• EMR: Epic (required)

Requirements

• Active RN license — Maryland license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Critical Care Certification (e.g., CCRN) preferred; trauma course preferred
• Minimum 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience required
• At least 2 previous travel assignments required
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 1 professional reference required for consideration
