American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/MS/PCU position at a small rural hospital in Claremont, NH, requiring 3+ years of experience across Med-Surg, Telemetry, and PCU settings.

Work in the Med-Surg/Telemetry/PCU unit of a small, rural 25-bed hospital

Patient population spans newborn to geriatric
-
RN-to-patient ratio is 5:1, adjusting to 3:1 or 4:1 for higher acuity PCU patients, applicable on both day and night shifts

Candidates must be comfortable and proficient across all three specialties: MS, Tele, and PCU
-
12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
-
Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as needed
-
No on-call responsibilities

13-week contract

Active NH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 3 years of experience in PCU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry required

Experience in a medical/surgical setting with cardiac monitoring required

Basic dysrhythmia test required

Rural or small facility experience highly preferred

Previous travel experience highly preferred

Must be able to work independently and adapt quickly

One supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years of employment required

Personal vehicle required for this assignment

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Responsibilities span Med-Surg, Telemetry, and PCU patient care — candidates must be fully cross-trained and comfortable in all three areas

Travel pairs will be considered, provided both travelers can work separate shifts when needed

This is a non-teaching facility

Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to or at the time of application; RTO requests will not be approved after placement, and a maximum of 5 days of RTO will be approved for the 13-week assignment

First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, though previous travel experience is highly preferred
