As a Travel Sales Specialist, you are a high-performing brand ambassador responsible for converting inbound inquiries into confirmed, premium guest experiences. In this fast-paced, sales-driven environment, you will use your expertise to consult with guests, overcome objections, and strategically upsell resort amenities to maximize revenue while exceeding guest expectations.

Main Duties and Essential Functions

  • Revenue Generation: Drive resort revenue by effectively converting inbound phone inquiries into confirmed bookings through persuasive communication and consultative sales techniques.
  • Strategic Upselling: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance the guest’s stay by upselling room categories, dining plans, marine adventures, and premium amenities.
  • Consultative Selling: Actively listen to discover guest needs and "pain points," providing tailored travel recommendations that align with their interests and budget.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly sales KPIs, including conversion rates, average daily rate (ADR), and quality assurance (QA) scores.
  • Expert Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep, "expert-level" understanding of Atlantis' diverse towers, attractions, and seasonal promotions to effectively position the resort against competitors.
  • Relationship Building: Establish immediate rapport with guests to foster trust and encourage repeat direct bookings.
  • Accuracy & Compliance: Process payments and confirm complex travel arrangements with 100% accuracy within various reservation systems

Skills, Experience & Education Requirements

  • Sales Background: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a sales-driven call center or luxury hospitality sales role is highly preferred.
  • Proven Results: Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and thrive in a performance-based environment.
  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle objections professionally.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously (CRM and reservation software).
  • Bilingual Preferred: Bi-lingual (Spanish and/or Portuguese) is a plus to support our global guest base.
  • Professionalism: Must be at least 21 years of age and able to work onsite in our Plantation, FL corporate office.

Compensation & Performance Incentives

  • Competitive Base Salary: Guaranteed hourly rate with reliable bi-weekly pay.
  • Commission Structure: Earn direct commission on every confirmed room and suite reservation and for successfully upgrading guests to luxury towers like The Cove or The Reef, or for booking high-value add-ons like Dolphin Cay adventures and fine dining packages.
  • Performance-Based Bonuses: Monthly bonuses awarded for exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, total revenue generated and upselling volume.
