American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of OB/GYN sonography experience, including high-risk OB procedures and ARDMS OB/GYN certification.

Outpatient OB/GYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine setting
-
Performs dating scans, Nuchal Translucency, fetal anatomical surveys, growth scans, biophysical profiles, cervical length, and Amniotic Fluid Index measurements

Handles high-risk OB cases including multiple pregnancies, fetal echo, and umbilical cord Doppler studies across all three trimesters

Performs amniocentesis procedures

Equipment includes GE, Philips, Siemens, and SonoSite ultrasound systems, with PACS for image management
-
Charting system experience required; any system accepted
-
5x8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
-
Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but at a different pay rate
-
Block scheduling cannot be accommodated; all time-off requests must be submitted prior to acceptance

Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB/GYN or Maternal Fetal Medicine sonography

ARDMS OB/GYN certification required

Current BLS required

Proficiency with high-risk OB, MFM, and OB/GYN ultrasound work settings

Experience with portables required

Experience across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scanning, fetal anatomical surveys, fetal echo, multiple pregnancies, umbilical cord Doppler, and amniocentesis

Valid state license or certification required if applicable

2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Performs a full range of perinatal sonography services including dating, Nuchal Translucency, anatomy surveys, growth studies, biophysical profiles, cervical length measurements, and AFI
-
A pass/fail clinical exam is required for clearance; candidates have a maximum of 3 attempts to pass, and a third failed attempt results in automatic cancellation
-
PA fingerprinting (Childline) is required and must be completed at the earliest available appointment, as results can take up to 2 weeks — candidates without results from within 12 months of the start date must complete this promptly

Lab work must be completed within 48 hours of signing
