Lesson Adventures is a growing, family-centered music studio serving students across Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, and surrounding areas. We provide in-home music lessons that are convenient for families and engaging for students of all ages.

We are currently hiring a reliable, personable, and motivated Piano and/or Guitar Instructor to join our team. This position begins part-time with the opportunity to grow into a fuller schedule over time.

Responsibilities

• Travel to students’ homes to teach weekly private lessons
• Teach beginner to intermediate students (children, teens, and some adults)
• Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons tailored to each students' age, level and goals.
• Track student progress and communicate lesson notes and updates through our student portal
• Maintain a consistent weekly teaching schedule
• Build positive relationships with students and families

Qualifications

• Proficiency in piano and/or guitar
• Degree in music or equivalent experience preferred
• At least 1 year of teaching experience (private lessons, tutoring, or similar)
• Strong foundational skills and understanding of basic music theory
• Ability to teach beginner through intermediate students
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
• Professional, punctual, organized, and dependable
• Friendly, personable, and comfortable working with children and families
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check

Schedule Expectations

• Availability during after-school hours (afternoons/evenings) is required
• Weekend availability is a plus
• Instructors must be able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
