Traveling Sales Representative

About Us

Kings Custom Holsters is a new and growing custom holster company based in Lexington, KY. We make hand crafted custom holsters for any weapon, knife, or accessory. We sell a variety of products for our partner companies, and we are looking for a motivated Traveling Sales Representative to represent our brand at local and regional gun shows. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable traveling, engaging customers, somewhat knowledgeable about firearms and accessories (but doesn't need to be any kind of expert), and enjoys face-to-face sales in a high-energy environment.

You will be responsible for traveling yourself and setting up at gun shows, presenting and displaying our products and partner company products, initiating and closing sales on behalf of Kings Custom Holsters. Taking and receiving payments, logging inventory etc.

Responsibilities

• Travel to local and regional gun shows as scheduled, you will be notified plenty in advance.
• Set up, maintain, and break down sales displays.
• Actively engage customers and promote Kings Custom Holsters and our company partner products
• Demonstrate product features and answer customer questions
• Accurately handle sales transactions and report daily results

ScheduleThis is a primarily weekend based position. Mainly on Saturdays, some Sundays may vary (you'll be notified well in advance and still have the option in most cases)
Pay & Compensation

• $100 per day (base pay) PLUS commission on all sales uncapped
• Holiday bonuses
• Gas covered for every show
• Hotel accommodations covered (when applicable)
• Paid Weekend off every month

Requirements

• Comfortable working in gun show and crowded environments
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation, this is a must
• Ability to lift display materials
• MUST be dependable and punctual, as we are a new company, we can't have someone representing our new face poorly.

• Are you available to work weekends? This position is designed primarily for Saturdays and Sundays, ESPECIALLY Saturdays.
• Do you have reliable transportation? This role will require you travelling all over the Kentucky, Ohio area based on your region.
• Are you comfortable with in person sales, and talking to customers and demo-ing products? Almost all of your interactions are going to be face to face sales, showing off our newest and most exciting products and our sales rep has to excel at showing these things off to our customers.
