Treasury Director

Role Overview

The Treasury Director will lead the strategic financial management for one of Saudi Arabia’s most significant urban developments. You will be responsible for securing and managing the capital necessary to fuel the company's diverse real estate projects, ranging from residential and commercial to smart-city infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Capital Structuring: Lead the structuring and execution of complex real estate financing deals, including syndicated loans, project finance, and Islamic Finance (Sukuk).
• Developer-Bank Relations: Act as the primary bridge between the company and local/international financial institutions. Leverage existing networks to secure competitive funding.
• Liquidity Management: Oversee cash flow forecasting for long-cycle real estate developments to ensure project milestones are consistently met.
• Risk Mitigation: Manage interest rate, currency, and counterparty risks, ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian regulatory frameworks.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project developers and government entities to align treasury strategies with the company's master plan.

Candidate Requirements

• Arabic Speaker: Essential for high-level negotiations with local banks, government bodies, and developers.
• Real Estate Expertise: Minimum 15 years of corporate finance/treasury experience, specifically within Real Estate Development or Large-scale Infrastructure .
• Banking Network: Proven track record of managing relationships with major Saudi and regional banks (e.g., SNB, Al Rajhi, Riyad Bank) and understanding their lending criteria for developers.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of real estate deal structuring, debt modeling, and Saudi Vision 2030 financial trends.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics; MBA, CFA, or CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) is highly preferred.
