Tree Care Estimator

J’s Tree Trimming & Removal is growing and we are currently looking for a qualified person to contribute to the success of our company.

We are a full-service tree company providing services to both residential and commercial customers. We perform a complete tree removal, trimming, pruning, stump grinding, etc. and much more.

J’s Tree Trimming & Removal is currently looking for an experienced Tree Care Estimator. This is a challenging year round position requiring a desire to work outdoors, knowledge about trees/shrubs care, as well as practical experience in tree assessment, pruning, etc. Arborist Certification is a plus. This position will require that the appropriate person is able to write estimates, set up the job with the crew and follow up with the customer once the work is completed.

Job Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license, chauffeur license is a plus!
• One year of field sales experience and customer interaction.
• Excellent knowledge of estimating projects based upon type, time and materials.
• Previous tree, landscaping or construction industries is preferred.
• Prior knowledge of tree species, diagnosis, and tree assessment is a plus.
• Professional with high standards of behavior and trustworthiness.
• Self-motivated.
• Able to pass a background check including drug screen.

Responsibilities:

• Handle scheduled estimates.
• Provide estimates for work to be done.
• Develop sales relationships and opportunities.
• Assist in cross training of other team members.
• Follow up on estimates.
• Drive company vehicle to customer properties
• Excel in Customer Service skills.
• Ability to multitask.
