TRS Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician (FST) to join our Tubular Running Services team in Egypt. The role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting tubular running equipment used in well construction. The FST will ensure safe, efficient, and accurate deployment of casing and tubing on both offshore and onshore projects, supporting high-quality oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain tubular running tools (TRT), casing and tubing running systems
• Monitor and record make-up data, including torque, turns, and load parameters
• Assist in setup, inspection, and calibration of running equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic issues in real time
• Ensure adherence to company procedures, HSE standards, and client specifications
• Collaborate with drill crews, engineers, and offshore/onshore teams to deliver operations safely and efficiently
• Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain equipment logs
• Report daily operational activities and provide recommendations for improvement

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Technical Diploma, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Petroleum Engineering
• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician in Tubular Running Services
• Familiarity with torque/turn systems, hydraulic tools, and data acquisition equipment
• Offshore experience is an advantage; onshore oil and gas experience accepted
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and operational manuals
