Service Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:
o Complete or partial disassembly and reassembly of centrifugal pumps (single- and multistage), valves and
other rotating equipment
o Perform component part evaluation of the disassembled components
o Measure shaft run-out and all other relevant measurements of the component parts by using micrometers,
bore gauges, veneer calipers, dial indicators and others
o Removal of components from the customer site and installation of components into the customer site
o Alignment of the electric motor using dial gauges or laser alignment device
o Initial commissioning of pumps sets at the customer site
o New installation of new pump sets at the customer site
o Troubleshooting at the customer site
o Conducting root cause analysis (RCA) at the customer site
o Preparation of service reports and time sheets
o Applying the company guidelines, rules and policies regarding health & safety, attendance, punctuality,
etc…
