Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable Truck Driver to support daily operations by transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites throughout Columbia and the surrounding areas. A CDL (Class A or B) is strongly preferred—however, qualified candidates without a CDL may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks to deliver and pick up materials, tools, and equipment
• Load and unload items using proper lifting techniques and safety procedures
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and documentation
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Assist warehouse or field crews as needed
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and job-site safety standards
• Represent Walker White Mechanical with professionalism and strong customer service

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required; CDL Class A or B preferred
• Clean driving record; ability to pass MVR and background checks
• Prior experience operating flatbeds, box trucks, or similar vehicles a plus
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in warehouse and outdoor job‑site conditions
• Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented
• Knowledge of construction or HVAC/mechanical materials a plus (not required)
