Driver Manager / Transportation Coordinator

White Oak Transportation is seeking a professional and dependable Driver Manager to support our operations at a customer location in Heflin, Alabama. This position serves as the primary point of contact for drivers assigned to the account and works closely with the customer to ensure efficient and safe transportation operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to build positive relationships with both drivers and customers while managing day-to-day transportation activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers assigned to the account
• Communicate daily with drivers regarding schedules, deliveries, and operational needs
• Monitor driver performance, attendance, and compliance with company policies
• Assist in resolving driver concerns and operational issues
• Coordinate with dispatch, operations, and customer representatives to ensure service expectations are met
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to driver activities
• Promote a positive driver experience through effective communication and support
• Monitor and communicate service issues, delays, and operational updates
• Support safety and compliance initiatives
• Represent White Oak Transportation professionally at the customer location

Qualifications

Required:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel
• Professional demeanor and customer-service mindset
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred:

• Experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, fleet management, or driver management
• Experience working directly with drivers and customers
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation operations

Location

This position is based onsite at our customer location in Heflin, Alabama and is not a remote position.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
