Truck Service Equipment Operator

Role Summary:
Operation of service truck, driver will perform fueling, lubrication, and general maintenance functions for farm fleet equipment and vehicles.


What to Expect in the Role:
  • Supply fuel to farm equipment and vehicles. (tractors, sod harvesters, and stationary equipment such as pumps)
  • Lubricate farm equipment (tractors, sod harvesters, pumps, etc.)
  • Check and maintain farm equipment batteries.
  • Maintain fuel records.
  • Maintain oil records.
  • Clean or replace air filters.
  • Replace fuel filters.
  • Replace grease fittings.
  • Report equipment problems to the applicable supervisor.
  • Work a ten (10) hour shift, five (5) to six (6) days per week, with extended hours as necessary.
  • Perform all safety requirements as identified in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

What We Will Be Needing From You:
  • A valid CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with Air Brake, Haz-Mat, and tanker endorsements
  • Requires the ability to understand the manufacturer’s operator manual for the proper maintenance requirements of equipment.
  • Requires the ability to properly handle and manage various chemicals, solvents, oils, lubricants, fuel, etc.
