Turf & Ornamental Applicator

TimberPine Landscaping is seeking a Turf & Ornamental Applicator to work out of our Waukee location. TimberPine has a reputation for providing consistent, reliable and personalized landscape management services throughout Polk, Dallas, and the surrounding communities.

We are seeking a Certified/Registered Iowa Pesticide Applicator in Categories 3OT. Job duties will include fertilizing and spraying ornamentals, trees and turf, tree injections, soil injections and deep root fertilizations. Pesticide record keeping, and ability to read and implement pesticide labels and mix rates/charts is a must.

Ideal candidates must be a motivated self-starter, with a professional demeanor, good problem resolution skills, and customer communication skills.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Clean driving record
• State of Iowa certified/registered pesticide applicator
• Certifications: 3OT (Turf and ornamentals) required.
• Operate both truck and trailer as well as aerator and turf applicator equipment
• Must be able to lift, push, and swing nozzles, hoses, and tubes to direct spray over designated areas

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply fertilizer & pesticides
• Lawn aeration & seeding
• Operate field service smart phone app and basic computer tasks
• Complete required paperwork
• Provide estimates to customers
• Communication with customers regarding lawn service
