Math Instructor (Part-Time) – Hollywood

We are hiring a Math Instructor in Hollywood who is passionate, friendly, and enthusiastic about helping kids succeed.

Quick Role Summary

As a Math Instructor, you will work directly with students in a supportive learning center environment, providing one-to-one and small-group math instruction. You’ll help students strengthen foundational math skills, grow confidence, and develop a positive attitude toward learning.

This position is ideal for individuals interested in education, tutoring, or becoming a teacher or long-term math instructor.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging one-to-one and small-group instruction as a Math Instructor
• Teach and support students in math concepts through Algebra
• Create a welcoming, motivating, and productive learning environment
• Build confidence and enthusiasm for math in every student
• Track and communicate student progress with Center Managers and staff
• Follow Mathnasium’s proven teaching methodology
• Support daily center operations and teamwork
• Collaborate with fellow instructors, teachers, and leadership

Requirements

• Comfortable with math concepts through Algebra
• Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to connect with both students and parents
• Experience working with children preferred (not required)
• Interest in an instructor, tutor, or teacher-style role
• Availability for afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts

Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time Math Instructor position with flexible hours.
Schedules vary by center but typically include afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
We are looking for long-term instructors and teachers who can stay with us throughout the school year.
